Project agreement · plain summary
How a $799 project works
This is a plain-language summary, not the contract. Before a slot is reserved I send you the full agreement to read and sign. It states exactly what is included, what it costs and what happens when something changes.
The scope
- one bilingual French-and-English page, up to six sections;
- one main action for the visitor: form, call, email or booking;
- the basics to be found on Google, a layout that works on a phone, and domain launch support;
- one round of corrections after your first read-through;
- ownership handoff at the end of the project.
What is not included
- professional copywriting and translation (you supply approved copy in both languages);
- custom applications, portals, e-commerce and AI automation;
- emergency or unlimited support;
- branding, logo design and photography.
Price, timing and availability
- $799 CAD, fixed price, plus applicable taxes;
- a 50% deposit ($399.50 CAD) reserves the agreed month; payable by Interac e-transfer or invoice;
- the remaining 50% is due after the corrections round and before the site goes live;
- delivery takes 14 to 21 days from the moment I have your approved content;
- only one new slot opens each month.
Deadlines and rescheduling
If content is not received within ten (10) days of the slot being reserved, the project moves to the following month and the deposit is carried over to that new date at no charge. One slow client neither takes another client's slot nor loses their own.
Deposit refunds
- if the project has not started: the deposit is refunded in full on request, less any transfer fees actually incurred;
- once work has started: the deposit is not refundable, but it covers work already done, which is handed to you;
- if I cannot deliver: full refund, no argument.
What you own
Your domain name, hosting, files, content and accounts remain in your name and under your control from the start. If I stop working or you stop working with me, you keep everything and have nothing to buy back. The only things that remain mine are reusable code components I use across projects — never your content, never your brand.
Your side
One decision-maker on your side. You supply the approved content, and you answer content questions within a reasonable time. That is what makes the 14 to 21 day schedule hold.
